Dr. Melanie Vandenberg grew up in Santa Cruz and graduated from Harbor High School before attending UC Davis for her undergraduate studies. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Arizona.
An active member of the Monterey Bay Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association, Dr. Vandenberg is dedicated to continual learning. She regularly participates in study clubs, workshops, and advanced courses to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
Dr. Vandenberg has also taken part in numerous dental volunteer trips around the world to Tonga, Grenada, Turks and Caicos, St. Lucia, and most recently Jamaica to provide care to underserved communities.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys hiking, climbing, surfing, skiing, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves expressing her creativity through painting and ceramics.
